Kimmie from Australia made Ellie Mae from our Oodles of Dolls pattern. She used the large square body, but made it 3 inches longer to make a make-do doll. She used the Apple head and the large doll arms with no thumbs or fingers. She stained her with walnut ink and coloured her face with watercolour pencils and a black felt tipped pen for outside definition. Her brown hair has been needle felted on and she is of course, dressed in the red, white and blue! She is carrying a fabric garland made with the same fabric as her dress and it has an Independence Day tag courtesy of Deenie from Ewe n Me printables. Visit Kimmie's site for more of her awesome creations and supplies. http://www.appleberryfarm.com.au/
