Pumpkin Seed and Continuous Line Loops Quilting Templates

Almost a month ago at the following link, http://ecraftclasses.blogspot.com/2016/08/new-fabric-and-quilt-project.html, I showed you the feather wreath and border templates I was going to use to quilt the Christmas Tree homespun fabric with the coordinating plaid homespun backing. Well, that turned out to be a nightmare! I had to stop after each heart shaped feather and start quilting the next one. And I was missing my new starting points, causing quite a few long stitches instead of the small, neat ones I wanted. Not to mention the time it was taking to start each new section to quilt all 21 or 22 little sections to complete EACH wreath. So, I have printed out a couple of easier templates that will allow for ongoing quilting while I work from each template. The first quilt stitches will have to be removed. Thankfully, I haven't moved beyond the half a wreath I quilted the first day, so that shouldn't take too long.  This was the first time quilting has stressed me. But I feel much better about these new templates.

The Pumpkin Seed template reminded me of a poinsettia and I just thought the loops would be easy. I still have to cut them out, but once that's done and the first stitches are removed, I can start quilting again! So be very careful what you print out. That will not only save you time but will also save money. I will still use the feather templates but on an easier project. It's very difficult to see the thread on this fabric.

Have a nice day!
