Hello everyone!

PROJECT UPDATES AND PRODUCT REVIEWS
I got the paint colors I requested from Plaid and got back to work on the Morning Run paint by number last week. It will definitely be finished by the end of this month! Again, these were very friendly people. I requested paint I was running out of and got them at no additional charge in just under two weeks.

I embroidered these Herrschners Fruit Jar Covers (14-4820) in about a week's time. Very quick project. There was more than enough floss to finish all four covers. Stitches used: French knot, satin, stem, and backstitches. The fabric is made from natural and red gingham homespun. I did have to sew a small section of the design circle to the red gingham section on the lemon cover. These are held on by elastic, and they fit the cute little half-pint fruit jars.

I cross stitched the top piece for this Herrschners T217 Wisteria Cross Stitch Music Box. It was a simple project (again about a week to complete), but I did run out of light yellow-green floss in the kit. I did have some floss that was a close match so I used it to finish the project. I got a video of it so you could hear the tune - Beethoven's Symphony No. 5.

AROUND THE HOUSE

Fall has moved into our backyard, but one of our little hummingbirds is hanging around for just a while longer. She was watching an Eastern Phoebe and a Mockingbird one day as they stood on top of the fence and the shepherd's hook her nectar is hanging on (the other two were watching for butterflies to eat) and she started sitting in those places as well. I got a quick photo of her sitting on the fence. She's a brave little hummer keeping watch over all of her nectar.

Thanks so much for dropping by to read our latest updates today! I'll be back by the end of the month with a quick update.

Have a nice day!
